Center for Rheumatic Diseases
In September of 2005, the University of Missouri opened our outpatient clinical offices, The Center for Rheumatic Diseases, at Woodrail Center, 1000 W. Nifong Blvd, Building 2, Suite 150, in southwest Columbia.
The faculty and staff of the Division of Immunology and Rheumatology, represent more than 30 years of comprehensive rheumatologic services to the University of Missouri and Columbia communities. We are experts in diagnosing and treating inflammatory and degenerative diseases of connective tissue, such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, gout, just to mention a few of the rheumatic diseases. The Center for Rheumatic Diseases houses an on-site infusion center, and has both DEXA capabilities for osteoporosis screening and management, and musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis of soft tissue as well as joint diseases.
We are excited to be able to provide the timely interactions and skill to help manage any and all rheumatologic processes. Access to our clinics has never been easier as our Advanced Clinic Access program allows us to schedule patients within one week for a new patient visit!
On behalf of Drs. Celso Velázquez and Chokkalingam Siva, and Nurse Practitioner Deanna Davenport, I look forward to hearing from you as to how we can assist with all your rheumatologic needs!
